VIOZ LUX GTX WNS - Waxed Camel

The ankle support on these is no joke — I carried a 35lb pack over uneven granite for three days and my feet never rolled once. The waxed leather scuffed up a bit but still looks sharp, and the Gore-Tex kept my socks dry through two creek crossings.

Wore these on a wet, rocky trek through the White Mountains and the ankle support on the descents was rock solid. The waxed camel leather is stiff for the first day or two but broke in nicely, and the waterproofing held up crossing a few shallow streams.

Wore these straight out of the box on a 9-mile loop with a 30lb pack and got zero blisters, which never happens for me. The GTX lining kept my feet dry through a muddy creek crossing, and the waxed camel leather still looks great after two months of weekend trips.
