OUTFITTER GTX - Brown

Took these elk hunting in Northern Idaho last October, and the ankle support on the steep sidehill stuff was rock solid. The Gore-Tex kept my feet dry through three days of wet morning grass.

These handled six miles of steep mule deer country on day one with zero break-in blisters, which I did not expect from a boot this stiff. The ankle support on sidehills is what sold me, and the Gore-Tex kept my feet dry crossing a soggy creek bottom.

Wore these for a full week of elk hunting in Idaho and my feet stayed dry the whole time, even after fording a couple of creeks. The ankle support is genuinely stiff in a good way, though plan on breaking them in before a serious trip.
